AN UNUSUAL SMALL PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE FIGURE OF A SEATED DRAGON
YUAN/MING DYNASTY, 13TH-17TH CENTURY
The four-clawed dragon is shown seated in a compact position with body tightly arched, tail flicked up to one side, and head turned towards the right as it protects the 'pearl' grasped under its right forefoot.
