A MUGHAL-STYLE PALE CELADON JADE VASE AND COVER
19TH CENTURY
Of flattened baluster form supported on a spreading foot, the vase has pierced phoenix-head handles, and the body is carved with ropework and floral blooms borne on scrolling foliage. The cover is similarly decorated and surmounted by a lotus bloom finial. The polished stone is of a semi-transluscent pale green tone.
