TWO HARDSTONE SNUFF BOTTLES
1780-1900
One is an aquamarine bottle, 1800-1900, of flattened, slender form, carved on the exterior with a pair of chilong. The other is a quartzite bottle, 1780-1850, of circular form, decorated as a clock face on both sides, one side with incised roman numerals and the reverse with Chinese characters.
2 1/8 and 2 in. (5.5 and 5 cm.) high, pink tourmaline stopper and an original quartzite stopper (2)
