the case with brass handle to the inverted bell top with floral swag mounts and pineapple finials to the angles, glazed panels to the sides and pierced gilt quarter frets above the door, on bracket feet, the brass dial with matted centre bearing the signature Webster London, foliate spandrels, a silvered plaque to the arch engraved with a displayed eagle, the twin gut fusee movement converted to anchor escapement and with strike on bell, floral engraving to the backplate bearing a repeat signature; adaptations, case and movement associated -- 19½in.
