A well engineered 3½in. gauge model of the L.M.S. Black Five 4-6-0 locomotive and tender No 5301,
built by D. Upton to the design of Doris with brazed superheated copper boiler stamped 'P80', with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, whistle, steam brake, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Walschaert's valve gear, cab controlled draincocks, fluted motion, steam operated brake gear, mechanical lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass and whistle. Tender details include hand feed pump, hand operated brake gear, steps and hand irons, finished in LMS black livery and lining -- 10½ x 48in. (26.5 x 122cm).
