Christie’s Asia 2023 Autumn Season exceeds HK$3.0B / US$389M

Welcoming collectors and enthusiasts from around the world, Christie’s Hong Kong will present a sensational series of autumn auctions from 24 November to 2 December at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The auctions will be preceded by preview tours held throughout the region, bringing outstanding sale highlights to the doors of Asia’s collectors.

Leading the 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale will be the auction debut of Sanyu’s first major nude painting, Nude on Tapestry, a highly coveted masterpiece that has never appeared in Asia before, from the prestigious Dreyfus Collection. Christie’s continues to steward the most important and iconic collections of Chinese Works of Art, and this season the department is honoured to present 15 masterpieces from The Tianminlou Collection – one of the most esteemed collections of Chinese porcelain in the world. Amongst the exceptional offering of watches will be Part 1 of the One-Of-A-Kind OAK Collection, a globally preeminent single-owner watch collection amassed by a European collector over more than four decades. The Magnificent Jewels sale will be fantastically headlined by ‘The Pink Supreme’ – presenting a unique opportunity to acquire the world’s largest fancy intense pink diamond to ever appear at auction. Stunning Hermès and other highly sought-after handbags from esteemed luxury maisons will be showcased, as well as a superb selection of fine and rare wine.
