This October in London, as part of Christie’s 20th/21st Century Art auction series, Post-War and Contemporary Art Online presents a selection of works by leading artists of the 20^th and 21^st centuries.

The sale features works by celebrated contemporary artists including Marina Abramović, Cecily Brown and Hernan Bas, alongside rising names such as Jemima Murphy, Tesfaye Urgessa and Mariana Oushiro. Highlights also include established figures such as Andy Warhol, Barbara Kruger, Wade Guyton and Alex Katz.

We are particularly pleased to present Selected Photographs from the Collection of Prince Hussein Aga Kahn, featuring exceptional works by Irving Penn, Edward Weston and Elliot Erwitt. The sale also includes works from other distinguished private collections, including The Collection of Senator and Mrs. Thomas F. Eagleton and Where the Soul Finds Form: The Giuseppe Iannaccone Collection.

Bidding will be open from 7 to 21 October. Selected highlights from the sale will be on view at Christie’s King Street from 8 to 20 October, and all works may be viewed by appointment.

Junior Specialist, Head of Online Sales | Post-War & Contemporary Art

Filippo is a Junior Specialist in the Post-War & Contemporary Art department in London. He joined Christie’s in 2019 as a Graduate Intern in the Impressionist & Modern Art department, before moving into a Sales Associate and Client Liaison role supporting the then Vice-Chairman, 20th & 21st Century Art, and later Chairman, Europe. In that position, he played a key role in client development while providing high-level administrative and strategic support. Since joining the department in 2025, Filippo has contributed to the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sales, working in close collaboration with colleagues globally, particularly in Italy. Filippo holds a law degree from the Università degli Studi di Milano and an MA, History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London.
