A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE STEM DISHES
QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND POSSIBLY OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
Each dish is delicately potted with gently rounded sides, supported on a tall flaring foot. The interior of each dish is finely enamelled with a stylised shou character surrounded by colourful leafy scrolls and flower heads, and five bats in flight. The exterior of each foot is decorated with a band of leaves suspending jewels.
6¾ in. (17.2 cm.) diam.
