Circular, the centre painted with the coat of arms of the Princes Iusupov: a gilt lion holding in his right paw a four-sided shield, on green ground, framed within a yellow band with an inscription in old Russian script, further framed within an inner and outer multi-coloured border with floral design, apparently unmarked

The design is similar to the design created by Feodor Solntsev for the Kremlin Service comissioned in 1837 and produced by the Imperial Porcelain Factory. Until now, it has not been possible to identify the mark on the service.
