All after designs by N. Danko; the inkwell realistically modelled and painted as an older Uzbek man and young girl in traditional costume drinking tea and playing draughts, the game board forming the lid of the inkwell, with removable liner, on a shaped naturalistic base with a moulded pen rest, marked under base with green overglaze Cyrillic factory monogram 'LFZ'; together with figures of Girei, Zarema and Maria from Pushkin's poem 'The Fountain of Bakhchisarai', two marked under bases with green overglaze Cyrillic factory monogram 'LFZ', one marked with the factory stamp; also numbered '24', '36' and '53', respectively
