AN UNUSUAL PALE BROWNISH-YELLOW JADE LOTUS BLOSSOM-FORM STEM BOWL
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The deep rounded bowl carved on the exterior with rows of overlapping petals below the flat rim carved with circular 'seeds' in reference to a lotus pod, all above a double collar of upward and downward-facing petals, the tall, domed pedestal foot also carved with pendent overlapping petals, the semi-translucent stone with some brown markings
5½ in. (14 cm.) high, wood stand
