A Stockelsdorf shaped rectangular jardinière and stand
Circa 1775
Painted in petit feu colours, the long sides with coastal landscapes of galleons in full sail before castles on cliff-tops, the short sides with trees issuing from grassy mounds, the shaped scroll-moulded rim enriched in green and manganese, on a rectangular stand with similar scroll rim (hairline crack, very minor glaze flakes, the stand extensively repaired), grey Stff. mark and blue Se mark
The stand 14½in. (37cm.) wide
