A Meissen hexagonal baluster tea-caddy and cover
Circa 1725
Gilt at Augsburg in the workshop of Abraham Seuter, each panel alternately gilt with figures in a landscape above a gilt scrollwork support and with foliate scrollwork above a bird perched in a branch, the gilt angles and shoulders richly gilt, the circular cover with chinoiserie figures within a band of dots (slight rubbing to angles and shoulder)
