Inlaid overall with boxwood lines and satinwood banding, the moulded rectangular cornice above a pair of Gothic-glazed doors enclosing two adjustable shelves, the base with rectangular top above a mahogany-lined frieze drawer with G R patent lock and with green baize-lined sliding writing-surface enclosing a well, and a hinged ink-drawer to the side, on ring-turned tapering legs headed by burr-yew panels, with BADCOCKS depository label to the reverse, and NORMAN ADAMS label
