With broad double-edged blade (edges abused) incised on each side with a small star and crescent, the hilt comprising iron stirrup guard bent upwards at the front to form a knuckle-guard, the rear scrolled downwards to form a quillon, slender langets, and cord-bound leather-covered wooden grip (upper half and pommel missing), in original shagreen-covered wooden scabbard with plain iron mounts including two lockets each carrying a ring for suspension
