A two-hand sword, and an Ahlspiess
Each in 16th century style
The first with earlier waved blade with central fuller on each face of the forte stamped 'Iohani', the ricasso struck with marks, the iron hilt comprising slender arched quillons with terminals formed as multiple turned mouldings, arms with double side-rings above and below, the spaces between filled by S-shaped bars, all with central mouldings, earlier writhen pommel, and leather-covered wooden grip with mouldings; the last with slender tapering square-section blade struck with a mark, two disc-shaped guards set at the base of the blade and halfway up the cord-bound wooden grip, and double-cone shaped pommel
