The first with steel bow (loose) held by iron retaining loops and with shaped stirrup, figured walnut tiller inlaid with scolls, dots, flowerheads and geometric designs in white staghorn (wormed and damaged), iron mounts, shaped brass trigger-guard, and set trigger (nut missing); the second with tapering blade of flattened diamond section, the iron hilt with fluted downcurved quillons each with bud-shaped finial, chiselled pommel of quatrefoil section, and wooden grip bound with copper wire reinforced with vertical iron strips (rust patinated overall)
