A very rare 28-bore Danish Løbnitz patent d.b. breech-loading percussion pistol
Signed N. Lobnitz Patent Kiobenhavn, No. 172, circa 1840
With tip-up octagonal sighted barrels released by a pivoting lever on the right side and fitted with sliding triangular bayonet beneath, box-lock action with two hammers on the upper side and signed on the top-strap, chequered walnut butt (damaged), and brass trigger-guard (in worn condition with some pitting)
