with richly gilt berried foliage-scroll handles and a berried laurel to the shoulder, the sponged green/brown ground applied with a medallion moulded with the Sacrifice to Aesculapius reserved on a gilt ground, on a spreading circular foot with gilt rim above a square black basalt base, impressed mark for WEDGWOOD & BENTLEY ETRURIA -- 12¼in. (31cm.) high, circa 1775 (some minor chips)
