The case on bun feet with glazed sides, re-gilt repousée sound frets to the sides and basket top with ball finials surmounted by a foliate cast handle, the 7 in. sq. dial with silvered chapter ring and pierced blued steel hands, the matted centre with calendar aperture, winged cherub spandrels, strike/silent lever above XII, pinned dial feet and latches to the seven ringed pillars of the movement with twin fusees (wire lines), knife-edge verge escapement, rack strike on bell above with pull trip repeat, the backplate engraved with foliage and flower heads and signed in the centre Ri:Jarratt London
