Another example of a wall vase with integral imitation lacquer wood stand and poetic panel on a sgraffiato yellow ground, is illustrated in the Tsui Museum of Art, Catalogue, vol. IV, no. 169. For a pair of related 'sedan chair' wall vases with poetic panels on a turquoise sgraffiato ground, cf. Qing Imperial Porcelain, col. pl. 97. A poetic wall vase with a clair-de-lune ground from the Percival David Foundation is illustrated by Beurdeley and Raindre in Qing Porcelain, where it is noted that the previous owner, Guo Baochang told Sir Percival that at the Emperor's order, the vase was made by Tang Ying himself.
