A poetic wall vase with a clair-de-lune ground from the Percival David Foundation is illustrated by Beurdeley and Raindre in Qing Porcelain, where it is noted that the previous owner, Guo Baochang told Sir Percival that at the Emperor's order, the vase was made by Tang Ying himself.
