Crisply cast in relief on each side with a central taotie mask between narrower bands of confronted birds, four above and two on the pedestal foot below, the mask bisected by a curling flange continued onto the foot and surmounted by a whorl, flanked by a pair of C-handles issuing from animal masks with upturned snouts
