Slightly tapering four-colour gold étui-à-cire of oval section, both sides of cover and base chased with flutes and centered by oval reserves chased with trophies symbolizing Dance, Music, Gardening and Geography, surrounded by floral swags tied with bows, the rims and the top decorated with twisted ribbons and beetles, the matrix engraved with the coat-of-arms of the La Villette de Veynes de Furmeyer family of Dauphiné
