The brass-lined case with brass handle to break-arch top, pierced fish scale sound frets to the sides and on bracket feet, the silvered dial signed Hawkins London within the Roman and Arabic chapter ring with pierced brass hands, strike/silent lever above II, unusual pendulum regulation sector in the arch engraved fast & slow and calibrated 32-0-32, the movement with unusual arched plates with six baluster pillars and twin wire fusees, anchor escapement with small pallets, the regulation bar above the plates suspending a steel rod pendulum with brass bob, strike on bell, the plain backplate engraved Hawkins London;
