A 12-inch (30.5cm.) diameter terrestrial table globe made up of twelve chromolithographed gores, the equatorial graduated in degrees and hours, the prime meridian and equinoctial colure graduated in degrees, the ecliptic graduated in days of the month and of the houses of the Zodiac with symbols, the oceans with ocean currents, the Sargasso Sea, the International Date Line and steamship routes with ports of arrival and departure and journey length in nautical miles, the continents with nation states variously coloured and showing railway lines and other political and physical information, with stamped aluminium hour dial and meridian circle, a cast iron revolving meridian half circle stamped SUN RAYS, the pointer to the bottom corresponding to the printed paper chart applied to the aluminium plinth base, graduated in days of the month, and in houses of the Zodiac, with further information regarding the seasons and how to use the chart -- 17½in.
