The anglaise riche case with Corinthian columns, with balustraded cornices and stepped base, the dial painted as the sky with butterflies to the centre and seasonal amorini to the corners, with Arabic chapters and alarm ring below, gilt hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the cut bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat/alarm on two gongs to the backplate numbered 4056, with selection lever to the base
