The anglaise riche case with beaded rope-twist border mounts, with paste gem set bezel to the off-white enamel annular Arabic chapter ring, plain recessed centre with vertically positioned bimetallic balance with lever escapement for the twin barrel movement, blued hands, the top with silvered Reaumur/Fahrenheit thermometer with curved mercury tube, centred by a compass, with strike on bell
