The anglaise riche case with ripple galleries, the gilt chapter ring with Arabic numerals within individual circlets, blued hands, with leafy branch engraving to the recessed centre also fitted with vertically positioned cut bimetallic balance with lever escapement for the twin barrel movement, the top with silvered aneroid barometer ring with skeletonized centre, strike/repeat on gong to the backplate stamped for S. Marti & Cie and numbered 503
