The pillars case with spiral-twist columns and pierced mounts to the cornice and base, the silvered Arabic chapter ring with plain gilt recessed centre with vertically positioned cut bimetallic balance with lever escapement for the single barrel movement, blued hands, the top with silvered Reaumur/Fahrenheit thermometer with curved mercury tube and centred by a compass
