An Unusual Pair Of 35-Bore German Flintlock Holster Pistols

With turned four-stage barrels, etched, gold-damascened, and fluted at the breech, engraved locks each struck on the inside with a maker's mark, a pistol and the initials I(?)P, the cocks re-inforced with a scroll and a serpent's head, deep cut moulded steels, moulded mulberry full stocks (cracked and chipped), pierced iron mounts including scrolled side-plates and hollow fluted pommels, and iron-mounted ramrods without tail-pipes
