With shortened sighted blued barrels each with raised sighting flat, engraved breech and tang, flat border engraved bevelled locks each signed below the steel-spring and engraved with trophies (one cock and one top jaw and screw replaced), moulded lightly carved figured walnut full stocks, iron mounts including pierced and chiselled side-plates and escutcheons, the latter each with coronet above, and later iron-mounted ramrods
