An early Victorian ormolu striking carriage clock

The case with large baluster handle to the top with escapement viewing portal, glazed sides and rear door, the silvered engine turned Roman dial signed Vulliamy London within a gilt mask with foliate engraved spandrels, the four pillar twin chain fusee movement with maintaining power, cut bimetallic compensated balance to gilt platform with typical jewelled underslung lever platform, strike on gong of circular section, minute hand adjustment lever to the backplate with circular engraved calibrated scale (0-60), conjoined plaque to top left hand corner for strike/silent lever, the front plate and base of front and backplates stamped 122, the backplate signed Vulliamy London. No. 1422, the back of the dial scratched numbered 497; some alterations
