Comprising of eight photogrpahs of Vienna, eight of Budapest (2 loose) and nineteen of Moscow including the Coronation ceremonies and five of St. Petersburg; together with twelve souvenir invitations to mark the event, including three designed by Apollinarii Vasnetsov inscribed by him, all but one mounted on card, bound in a half morocco album (binding rather worn)

Lot Essay

Compiled by Armand Courtois de Viose, the views record his journey to Russia and presence at the Coronation of the last Tsar. One photograph of the entry into Moscow is by V. von Mengden, the others unsigned and include the processions and visitations to the Kremlin churches and the final parade.
