Moulded with eight lobes and painted in polychrome enamels over clear glaze with flowers within double-line borders of underglaze cobalt blue, the well enamelled with chrysanthemums and underglaze-blue rocks which are repeated on the exterior with the addition of a lion, spurious Ming dynasty Chenghua reign mark in underglaze-blue within a double-ring and three spur marks on base
