A 4-inch (10.2cm.) diameter pocket terrestrial globe made up of twelve hand-coloured engraved gores, the equatorial and meridian graduated in degrees, the latter running through Greenland, no ecliptic shown, the continents outlined in red, yellow and green, Australia with five states delineated by colour, other nation states delineated by dotted outline, showing rivers, lakes and some cities, South Africa labelled Hottentots, the Antarctic showing Enderby's Land, Sabrina Land, South Victoria and Graham Land (some old discolouration, small abrasions and neatly repaired cracks) with steel axis pins (replacements) in turned fruitwood box, the domed lid with flat knop -- 5in. (12.7cm.) high
