A large selection of pieces from the service to which the present six soup plates originally belonged are in the collection of the Muse Ephrussi-Rothschild, Cap-Ferrat. Single pieces from the service have periodically appeared on the art market, including a dinner plate previously in the collection of J.P. Morgan sold on behalf of the Ervika Foundation, Inc., Christie's New York, 23 October 1998, lot 3.

Nicholas Catrice, recorded at Svres as a flower painter, 1757-1774.
