Oval box, the cover, side and base panels with translucent blue enamel on various engine-turned grounds within borders of gold paillon chevrons, the cover, on an elliptical radiant wavy guilloché ground, centred with a horizontal oval enamel plaque of two young lovers in a landscape, the lady feeding her friend with cherries, within a split-pearl border, the side panels, on horizontal wavy engine-turning, divided by rectangles enamelled with vases on plinths, the base panel, on a radiating wavy sunburst guilloché, further enamelled with a floral composition in gold and blue paillons
