Mei: Musashi no Kami.., Edo Period (17th century)
The blade honzukuri, iorimune, almost straight with chugissaki, itamehada, sanbonsugi hamon of nioi, chu-maru boshi, suriage nakago, 195/8in. (49.9cm), in its black lacquered wooden cane with matching tsuka, the cane with a metal ferrule, 35in. (89cm.) overall, late 19th century
