The two-doored cabinet decorated in gold and silver hiramaki-e on a sharkskin ground with various fan-shaped panels, the top depicting flowers, landscape and mythical beasts and bordered by bands of overlapping circles, the lock plate engraved with two large butterflies, the interior revealing various sized drawers decorated in sharkskin and bordered with a geometric band and an architectural drawer in the centre decorated in gold hiramaki-e with a tomoe-mon crest [three clockwise whirl pattern], some old damage
