A Meissen monogrammed oval two-handled soup-tureen and cover and two smaller tureens en suite
Circa 1745, blue crossed swords marks
En suite to the preceding, the first with cauliflower, stalk and flower handles, the cover with a partridge, gilt scroll, cucumber, cauliflower, asparagus and sliced lemon finial (two pieces broken from one side and restuck, the other side with crack and small piece restuck near foot and crack to base, slight flaking and chips to finial and polished chips to rim of cover), 15¾in. (40cm.) wide; the two small tureens with lemon handles (one with slight crack to side extending to base, both with slight flaking to enamels of handles)
