Type: 50R. 14 (of ?15, probably lacking one on F7) large metalcuts and 18 small metalcuts, all but one small cut FINELY ILLUMINATED IN GOLD AND COLOURS BY A CONTEMPORARY HAND, 4-part ornamental border to each page, those surrounding the large metalcuts coloured in red and gold, liquid-gold initials on alternating pink and blue ground. (Repair at one corner.) Late 19th-century deep tan diced russia, panelled in gilt and blind with central ornament on sides, ivory silk liners, gilt edges (discreet repairs at hinges, slight wear at head of spine and corners).
