An Italian Empire white painted and carved giltwood sofa
With foliate carved top-rail and curved sides, upholstered in pink brocadedd velvet material and having a stuff over seat, the seat worn and frayed, between pilaster uprights surmounted by lion mask roundels, with foliate capitals and laurel leaf garlands and neo classical ornament, the seat-rail centred by a lozenge with radiating Apollo mask, between foliate anthemion sprays and portrait neo classical roundels of a girl and boy, on simulated grey marble block feet
