Lot Essay

Corporal Samuel Radford enlisted at Wolverhampton in January 1810, having previously been employed as a Groom. Advanced to Corporal in July 1812, he participated in the Battles of Vittoria and Toulouse, in addition to serving in France from 1815-16. Radford was invalided home in April 1817.
