A French brass striking and five-minute repeating carriage clock

The anglaise case with Greek key handle, white enamel Roman dial (hairline crack across centre), with blued steel hands, hour repeat button to top of case and five minute repeat button above rear door, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike work planted on the backplate, with strike/repeat on gong, stamped BREVETÉ S.G.D.G
