The later 10¾ in. diam. silvered regulator dial signed Recordon London with blued steel hands, latches to the dial feet and to the six robust pillars securing the brass movement plates, Graham-type deadbeat escapement with jewelled pallets with beat adjustment, all wheels with six crossings and end-caps, Harrison's maintaining power, the steel rod mercury jar pendulum suspended from a brass backboard bracket with adjustable cheeks, the case with ripple-moulded domed hood with glazed ribbon-tied laurel gilt-metal bezel to the dial, the ebony-bordered trunk door with brass-lined rectangular glazed section, fielded side panels above ripple mouldings to the simple skirted plinth; case, dial and movement composite
