A well engineered ½in.:1ft scale model single cylinder vertical reversing launch engine
designed and made by K.N. Harris Rustington, England, with metal clad valve chest and cylinder approximately 1½in. bore x 1in. stroke, cylinder head lubricator, valve chest and cylinder draincocks and pipework, inlet manifold with flanged joints, displacement lubricator and regulator valve, exhaust oil separator, the cylinder mounted on four parallel columns with slipper type crosshead guide, handwheel, worm and quadrant operated Stephenson's link reverse, counterbalanced crankshaft and disc flywheel with barrings holes. Further details include cast bed with drip trays and drains, removable crank guard plates, flexible shaft couplings and thrust bearing, finished in green, black and polished brightwork, mahogany bearers and base. Measurements overall -- 13½ x 17in. (34.3 x 43.2cm.). Brass plate engraved Model Launch Engine designed and made by K.N. Harris. Rustington England Scale ½in.=1ft
