The substantial case with floral swag draped shield cresting to its arched top, with projecting scroll angles to an integral plinth, with central swag-hung ringed mask mount, the white enamel Roman dial with Arabic five minutes and rubbed retail signature L. MARCHAND (?) RUE C.D. CHANTIER NO, with pierced gilt-metal hands, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell -- 29½in. (75cm.) high
