Tiflis, 1861, with illegible maker's mark
The circular bowl on spreading banded foot, the bowl repoussé and engraved with six lobed panels and a central roundel, three depicting huntsmen, the remainder with a variety of animals and birds, on foliate and floral grounds, with pricked and beaded rim, marked under base; the ladle similarly decorated, the central roundel with a bacchanalian figure seated on a barrel, cup and flagon in hand, the six lobed panels with birds and animals, the long handle with shaped finial and applied trefoil bracket, engraved with foliate scrolls, apparently unmarked
