in silver and coloured silks, the top monogrammed and dated MFV, heart motif, 1737 MC, the lower registers with a bird on a branch, a rose, a farmhouse, a lady in a dress with a silver stomacher, a black-hatted gentleman with a dog and a bird, RAM beneath a coronet, floral and geomterical patterns and urn of carnations--39½ x 3½in. (99 x 9cm.), glazed, in tortoiseshell veneer frame
