1830-1840, puce script Royal Porcelain Works Worcester/London House 1 Coventry Street mark
Of 'Warwick Vase' form with gilt entwined vine handles and applied vine-leaf terminals, edd-and-dart everted rim. and pearls applied at the shoulder, finely painted with views of 'Kirtstall Abbey, Yorkshire' and 'Morpeth Castle, Northumberland' named on the underside and reserved within delicate gilt foliate and seeded cartouches on the pink ground, the lower portion with a scalloped seeded band suspending stylized tassels and enclosing pendant palmettes, the cover with an artichoke finial centering applied gilt enriched leaves in similarly decorated circular cartouche, the socle foot on further square base gilt at each corner with a trefoil on a seeded ground
